In a complete filtration system, different regulation and control devices must be available. GORCO can offer all the necessary devices for each case.
Pressure control
The compressed air for cleaning the bags must be at the required pressure. So safety pressure switches are installed at a point in the compressed air line; for example, in the tanks before each line of solenoid valves.
Differential pressure (DP) control
The pressure difference, pressure drop, between the dirty and clean part of a bag filter is one of the most important variables in the installation; and can give an approximate impression of its condition.
There are several ways to measure this, from the conventional and classic U-tube, very reliable as long as it is clean, to various precision electronic instruments, acting or not on cleaning bags.
The DP loop – cleaning cycle is considered an essential part of modern, high quality systems.
There are many kinds of instruments:
- Level indicators in hoppers and silos.
- Rotation controllers on valve shafts and screw conveyors.
- Limit switches.
- Bearing temperature gauges, vibrations.
- Any other, as necessary.
